Teaninich 30 Year Old 1982 (cask 9323) - Directors' Cut (Douglas Laing)
Distilled at the Teaninich distillery in December 1982, this is a 30 year old, single cask Speyside malt. It was aged in a refill butt before bottling for the Directors Cut range in late 2012. A release of just 201 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Clean, gristy, malty aromas. Hints of soft honey, butterscotch and spice.
Palate
Spiced, warming palate entry with notes of oily spices, toffee apples, vanilla custard and fruit.
Finish
Long, fruity finish with charred oak and brandy butter on the tail.
Overall
Rich and malty.
