This right here is a 13 year old Teaninich single malt Scotch whisky, which has been bottled up for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection by Signatory. A lot of Teaninich's whisky goes into blends, so indie bottlings of its single malt are rather exciting indeed. This one was matured in two hogshead casks from October 2008 to November 2021, and then bottled up at 46% ABV.
Lemon cheesecake with a thick biscuit base, softly herbal with hints of grassy freshness.
Crisp orchard fruits (apple and pear mostly), followed by more biscuity notes and some drying nutmeg spiciness.
Orange peel and honeyed malt.

Nose - Waxy, hessian and some citrus notes Palate - Citrus continues and a good prickle of sweetish spiciness, nice balance with some dryness Finish - Spice continues and a salty, coastal note appears
