Single Malt

While a lot of their whisky goes into Johnnie Walker blends, the Teaninich distiller produces some very lovely single malt Scotch whiskies which are often released by independent bottlers. This edition, distilled in 2004 and matured in sherry hogsheads, comes from Gordon and MacPhail and is part of their Connoisseurs Choice range.
Pear drops, strawberry laces and candied orange peels. It's like a time-warp to a tuck shop!
Chocolate, more strawberries and lightly salted peanuts.
A medium length finish.
An elegant but very flavoursome single malt.
