Tamdhu 12 Year Old 2006 (cask 12941) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Tasty 12 year old Tamdhu, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Old Particular range! This Speysider began life back in November 2006 and aged in a single refill hogshead for a dozen years before being bottled in December 2018 with an outturn of 427 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Spicy candied ginger, vanilla buttercream and treacle cookies.
Palate
Black pepper appears, with vanilla fudge, toasted hazelnuts and brown sugar.
Finish
Oily malt alongside more of that brown sugar, with drying baking spice lingering.
