A blended whisky from The House of Suntory's three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Toki has a different composition to another Suntory blend, Hibiki, as its main components are Hakashu single malt and Chita grain whisky. It should work really well in a highball.
Fun fact: 'Toki' means 'time' in Japanese.
Soft orchard fruits and thyme honey are joined by a helping of peppermint in the backdrop.
More green apple on the palate leads along bright citrus notes from pink grapefruit. Bitter herbs, toasted almonds and vanilla oak linger underneath.
White pepper and ginger add spice to the finish.

Like a fruit salad punched you in the face.
First time with this whisky. tastes great neat, no need for mixer, wasted in a cocktail deserves to be tasted, not hidden.
Tastes and feels absolutely wonderful neat, moderate sweetness with plenty of Irish character. Perfect mixed with ginger ale. Will definitely be trying out some more Japanese whiskeys.
Very sweet on the nose, perhaps overpowered by the grain element so leaning towards bourbon rather than malt. A bit subtle for me but I'm sure it will have its devotees.
Very nice indeed! Very smooth and mild with lovely sweet finish. Not one for the peat lovers but great taste experience. Will definitely be here again!
