A blended whisky from The House of Suntory's three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Toki has a different composition to another Suntory blend, Hibiki, as its main components are Hakashu single malt and Chita grain whisky. It should work really well in a highball.
Fun fact: 'Toki' means 'time' in Japanese.
Soft orchard fruits and thyme honey are joined by a helping of peppermint in the backdrop.
More green apple on the palate leads along bright citrus notes from pink grapefruit. Bitter herbs, toasted almonds and vanilla oak linger underneath.
White pepper and ginger add spice to the finish.

First Japanese whiskey after being a dominant Tennessee whiskey and bourbon drinker it's light with beautiful floral lemongrass notes with a initial Sharp mouthfeel but soon settles into a well rounded taste can be enjoyed chilled and accents different foods quite well. (Any whisky and spicy food will only double the burn)
This is a whiskey well worth trying, especially at this price. It is very smooth and very drinkable. Easy on the palate and ideal as an aprithif.
It is toki to drink your excellent whiskey in Croatia too.
Very pleasant lovely honey and baked apple aroma - quite smooth on the palate a drop of water brings out the baked apple ‘quaffable dram’ will buy!
Very fresh and light as seems to be a reoccurring theme with the Japanese blends I've tried to date. Not for the smokey or peaty fans but a pleasant dram ... much prefer the Nikka though.
