    Single Malt

Strathmill 25 Year Old 1990 (cask 11068) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

It's not just an Old Particular, it's an Xtra Old Particular! This is a 25 year old single malt from the Strathmill distillery in Speyside, matured in one refill hogshead from December 1990 to February 2016, before being bottled by Douglas Laing at 47.4% ABV. Only 209 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Exotic cooking spices, orchard fruits (lots of fresh pears) and clean malty notes.

    Palate

Wonderfully buttery, joined by lemon peel, blueberries and a touch of freshly cut grass.

    Finish

Spice develops slowly but becomes enjoyably intense on the long finish.
