    Single Malt

Strathmill 12 Year Old 2007 (cask 13782) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

A honey-rich single malt here from the Strathmill Distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. It was distilled back in July 2007 and left to rest in a refill hogshead for 12 years, eventually being bottled in January 2020. Just 333 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Creamy malt with a hint of cedar, develops sweet notes of honey on toast and fresh lime.

    Palate

More runny honey, now paired with brown sugar, vanilla and just a whiff of earthy florals.

    Finish

The earthiness grows on the finish, though custard cream biscuit sweetness remains.
