This was distilled at the Strathisla distillery in Summer 1999. It was then aged for 12 years in a single refill hogshead cask before bottling in Summer 2011. This comes from Douglas Laing's Provenance range.
Nose: Spiced and fruit-rich, notes of pipe tobacco, manuka honey and a hint of salted butter.
Palate: Cherry and toffee apples, a thick, rich palate with oodles of digestive biscuits.
Finish: Spiced and very gently smoky.
