
An enjoyably spicy and fruit-forward English single malt from The English range, produced at St. George's Distillery in Norfolk. This expression was drawn from second-fill Cabernet Sauvignon casks, which have imparted helpings of red fruit and warm oak to the whisky. Should make for a tasty after dinner tipple on a particularly chilly evening.
Stewed red berries and fresh cream, followed by cinnamon, ginger and cedar.
Liquorice root, raspberry jam, very slightly chocolatey, layers of caramel and vanilla.
Peppery malt appears on the finish.
