Rum Finish
6 year old English single malt whisky from the English Whisky Co., independently bottled by Claxton's. This was aged in a rum cask for a half-dozen years before being bottled at cask strength with an outturn of only 258 bottles.
Buttery and sweet, with fresh malt, vanilla and a hint of grilled plantain.
Heavy cinnamon and cacao, joined by milky coffee and lemon peel notes later on.
A burst of ripe grape and green apple.
