A gorgeous Hazelburn single malt distilled at Springbank in December 2007, matured for 11 years in re-charred bourbon hogsheads. It was bottled in November 2019 originally after being selected by Springbank's director of production Findlay Ross just for Springbank Society Members, with only 1,314 bottles released.

Open it up with a few drops of water. Nose: Canned mushroom, green apple, candy cherry, burnt marshmellows. There is a light smoke in the background. Don't let the triple distillation fool you, the character is bold and masculine. Palate: Sour and savory, slightly spicy, oak heavy. The quality and depth of the oak is wonderful. Steady and smooth transition to the finish. It definitely brings that Springbank funk on the palate and to the finish! All in all very impressive.
