This whisky from a Speyside distillery has been bottled by Douglas Laing for their Director's Cut collection and is an excellent 46 year old dram with rich sherried notes.
Intense Christmas cake, chocolate and dried fruits on the nose followed by an exceedingly rich palate of raisin and sultanas macerated in sherry. The finish is long and graceful with soft Christmas spice notes.
