Distilled in September 2008, this Speyburn 8 Year Old was bottled by Douglas Laing in August 2017 at 48% ABV for the Clan Denny range. A single malt Scotch whisky from a refill hogshead cask that’s non-chill filtered and of natural colour, only 407 bottle have been produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Packed with toasted marshmallow, orange peel sweetness and some floral notes.
Palate
Gentle biscuit and toffee, with notes of custard.
Finish
Sweet malt, lightly toasted barley and plenty of marmalade.
