Single malt Scotch from Speyburn Distillery. This single cask whisky was distilled in 2007 and matured for 15 years in a PX sherry butt. In 2022, 669 bottles were drawn for the Hunter Laing The Old Malt Cask series, bottled at cask strength, without added colour or chill filtration.
Milk chocolate, sweet cereal notes, and some dried vine fruits.
Maltesers, with some brown sugar, praline, and candied orange peel.
Rich and sweet, with warming spices.
