Description
Single cask Speyburn, independently bottled for the Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. This single malt was distilled in January 2003 and allowed to age in a refill hogshead for 15 years before being bottled in February 2018. 374 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cornflakes with a dusting of brown sugar, followed by a hint of tropical fruit ice cream.
Palate
Runny caramel, sultana, buttery malt, a touch of lime pith.
Finish
Enjoyably sweet and fruity with notes of blueberry and pear.
