We independently bottled a single cask of 6-year-old Bavarian single malt whisky from the Slyrs distillery! It was distilled in March 2010 and set aside to age in a second-fill American white oak barrel until April 2016, when it joined our Single Cask Series.
Freshly baked Chelsea buns topped with icing and cinnamon. Brazil nut, lychee and robust, meaty malt. A drop of water brings forward rye grain.
The rye notes continue on the palate. Sesame Snaps, grapefruit peel and brown sugar. Give it a few drops of water and you'll be greeted by creamy vanilla custard notes.
Soft peach flesh, malted milk biscuits and slightly savoury hint of French toast.
