Speyside (GL) 16 Year Old 2007 Exceptional Cask - 100 Proof Edition #7 (Signatory) 70cl Whisky

This decadent Speysider is the seventh to join indie bottler Signatory's Exceptional Cask 100 Proof Editions. Distilled in 2007, the single malt matured for 16 years in a selection of first-fill oloroso sherry hogsheads before it was bottled at a hearty 57.1% ABV. The distillery remains a mystery, though the letters 'GL' on the label could perhaps be interpreted as some sort of clue from the gang at Signatory!
