24 year old Speyside whisky from the Cragganmore distillery. This was distilled on the 20th October 1985 and aged in hogshead number 1994 before bottling on the 20th November 2009. A release of 233 individually numbered bottles at cask strength. Presented in stunning decanter bottles.
Nose: A woody, spicy nose offering up vanilla, oak and peppermint. Hints of coconut and malt.
Palate: Sweet on the palate, lots of barley peppercorns, hay, chamomile tea and honey.
Finish: Good length, sweet and spicy.
