Samuel Gulliver & Co. The Fine Drop
The Fine Drop’ commemorates 20 years since the English men’s rugby team won The Rugby World Cup against Australia. Every patriotic person in England will surely recall Jonny Wilkinson scoring in the final 28 seconds with a dropkick and now they can toast the occasion while cheering on the team in the 2023 World Cup (which was happening at the time of this English whisky's release, for anybody reading from the future). The whisky is matured in red wine château-style French oak casks from Margaux, Bordeaux as a nod to the host country of the 2023 Rugby World Cup and was bottled at 46% ABV, without chill-filtration and with natural colour.

Nose
Dark cherry, sweet spice, orange peel, seedless raisins, and vanilla.
Palate
Red berries, oily walnuts, oaky vanilla, marmalade, milky coffee, and winter spice.
Finish
Ginger cake and red fruit.
