A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly praised by a host of notable critics. Distilled at the Midleton site from malted and unmalted barley, it’s then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. We can't get enough of this multi-award-winning whiskey.
Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon.
Spicy with great body. Nuts and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever.
Long and creamy with custard and spice.

been after a bottle of this for a while --- well worth the wait. i love irish whiskey and this didn't disappoint......creamy smooth
This is at the high point of what I'd pay for a whisky, but it's an exceptional drink. Incredibly smooth and long finish, slightly nutty. It's a weekend sipper and I'll certainly buy again.
I was first offered a glass of whiskey from an 84year old friend in Canberra, Australia but I didn’t get the details. To my surprise it was brought to my attention by an advert from Masters of Malt. I purchased a bottle straight away and it was delivered with a couple of days. Oh the whiskey, smooth, terribley moreish and pleasant both on the nose and on the tongue. A great discovery.
I normally drink Scottish whisky and I was really looking forward to this highly rated Irish whiskey. It's a pleasant enough drink but it lacks any depth or complexity. A breakfast whiskey if ever I tasted one.
Beautiful on its own but with a few drops of water and you get delicious sticky (not sickly) toffee pudding with a beautiful warmth in the chest
