Famous bourbon brand Rebel Yell has undergone a rebrand for a new generation of rebels. "Rowdy yet refined", this new look straight bourbon is the original recipe made with wheat, corn and malted barley.
Please note: The quality of the label may show some scuffing, but fear not, the bourbon within is unaffected!
Honey, vanilla, slightly woody raisin and candy sticks.
Sultanas, nectarine and hints of prune. Vanilla throughout.
Warming pressed apple.
Still enjoyable in the midnight hour.

For comparison tasters - I particularly enjoy Bushmill's Irish Whiskey, Hennessy's Very Special Cognac, and George Dickel's Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey - as you can see, I like the good stuff as a rule . Why do I enjoy Rebel Yell ? It lives up to it's name in a way that is hard to describe, but I'll try - Wild Turkey has class, Old Grandad has a "homey" charm, Old Charter has a certain working-man's "warmth" on chilly evenings - but Rebel Yell is a "Stag Party" in a bottle. I'm really looking forward to trying the 10 Year Old Single Barrel - it's THE VERY THING I would have wanted from this distillery - having said that, I miss the signature blend - it's nearly impossible to be found in Los Angeles - a REAL shame in a town that professes to "party all the time" -
I have tried most bourbons on the market, nearly every Jack Daniels produced and this has remained my favourite. Just wish they hadnt changed the bottle.
very nice change from jack and jim classic as any jack and jim like whiskey
The best flavor and finish, not to mention the fantastic value for the money. I'm personally responsible for bringing it to Michigan after many requests to various liquor stores. Now it's everywhere!!!!!!
More of a whiskey drinker myself and Jameson is my preferred drink but Rebel Yell is amazing ! You can call it a true 'American whiskey' as it is a bourbon blend and that true to life wild wild west flavor of arsenic and hydrogen peroxide is just great...lol Had a hard time with figuring out the after taste...it's raisins ! Got a bottle at a discounted price and just plain fell in love with it...can't really explain why but i crave this stuff like a Big Mac. This stuff is considered a below the bottom shelf whiskey and i think that seriously under rates it...much better than anything bar rail like windsor or seagrams but be careful as over indulgence in this one will come back to haunt you the next morning. rebel yell is simply the best BOURBON whiskey i have found for the guy that only likes straight whiskey....try it and you will fall in love with it as well.
