Rare Ayrshire (Ladyburn) 36 Year Old 1975 (cask 564) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)
This was distilled at the Ladyburn distillery on the 21st February 1975. It was aged in bourbon barrel 564 for 36 years and bottled by Signatory for their Cask Strength Collection on the 14th September 2011. A release of 172 numbered bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy and unusual, lemon zest, berry fruits, malt and spice.
Palate
Big, rich and tangy. Thick malt, honeydew melon, cinnamon and manuka honey.
Finish
Spiced and peppery, malt and cooked fruit.
