From a trio of peated releases, this Isle of Raasay single malt was aged in a single Bordeaux red wine cask, stained red on the outside and delivered fresh from a château in South West France. That deep red colour in the whisky is all-natural and the cask also imparted an array of rich and fruity flavours from dried fruits to Christmas cake. This release from the Na Sia Single Cask Series was bottled at cask strength, non-chill-filtered.
Old Bay spice, vanilla, sandalwood, roasted nuts, black grapes, and Christmas cake.
Dark fruit, oaky spice, sea salt, cinnamon pastries, and char siu ribs.
Cherry cola, sultanas, and gingerbread.
