Wine Cask
'The Ghost of the Canal' is the title given to this addition to the Cask Noir series from indie bottlers, Brave New Spirits, a reference to the now demolished Port Dundas distillery where this single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in 2006. The Lowland whisky matured in a single first fill Lafite wine barrique for 16 years, before it was bottled in 2022, at cask strength, and without chill filtration or added colour. A limited outturn of 304 bottles.
