“Purchased a bottle following attending a whiskey masterclass at Penderecki distillery. Smooth, with a rich taste of roasted nuts and chocolate, and a heady port/whiskey aroma. Best drunk solo, from a proper tasting glass to maximise the intense pleasure this whiskey brings. Definitely one to savour.”

After a number of excellent single Port cask releases (and a 41% release), here's single malt from the Welsh distillery's core range which is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and then in Portwood casks following that!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Fruity with chocolatey touches. Sweet, jammy and creamy with some toffee and wood spice.

Palate

Rounded and warming with more sweet, rich fruit and plum wine.

Finish

Sweet goji berries and caramel.
