Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.
The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.
Penderyn Madeira Finish is at the heart of the Penderyn range. A beautifully packaged Welsh whisky.
Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

How can anyone give this a rating? Its horrible....like trying to drink petrol. Nasty.
I received a bottle for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised actually, I found it very easy to drink and fairly sweet on the palate very much a sitting by my wood burner in the winter kind of dram.
Oh dear. I am from a Welsh background and really wanted to believe. I even visited the distillery. It tastes like a cheap toffee liqueur. All buttery, vanilla, toffee. Too sweet. No oak, no smoke, no finish. Can't believe they can pass this off as premium spirit. I have a litre to give away if anybody wants it.
We were just driving through Penderyn this summer after a visit to the Beacons, and stopped by at the distillery; it was love at first sip. Very potent, but I just had to come away with a bottle. Come to think of it, I didn't know till then that a Welsh single malt existed.
