    Single Malt

    Penderyn Madeira Finish

Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.

The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.

Penderyn Madeira Finish is at the heart of the Penderyn range. A beautifully packaged Welsh whisky.

    Great

As a expat of Wales living in OZ over 40 yrs I have to say this is the best I've ever had, just add 1 small ice cube if you wish and sit back enjoy, wish I was in a position to buy a little more but us pensioners are limited, lovely stuff well done Penderyn

Decent whisky in this price range, especially if you can pick it up on offer

The other reviewers complaining about the strong spirit flavour need to add a healthy splash of neutral water. This is a nice whisky with a little spice and plum and a rounded finished

    Wow

Not a connoisseur and have a good laugh at the tasting notes which mean nothing to me. All I know is that this is the best whiskey I've ever tasted. Many thanks and keep up the good work.

    A raw spirit.

This is a raw drink, I feel the burn all the way down my oesophagus into my stomach. I cannot relate much to the tasting notes apart from perhaps vanilla. For me it is brown sugar, either peaches or apricots I can't put my finger on it, fragrant fruit, even on the nose there is a burn. First and last bottle for me, thumbs down. Trying to get the bottom of the bottle to make space for something else.
