Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.
The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.
Penderyn Madeira Finish is at the heart of the Penderyn range. A beautifully packaged Welsh whisky.
Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

Glad I only tried the sample. Doesn't quite work for me. For this price there is so much more on the market. For the higher reviews I'd be inclined to say they are beginners with whisky.
Very marmite reviews of the Madeira but for me, it’s holds up well against similar types of whisky such as Cardhu Gold Reserve. Very smooth despite the alcohol content and it’s due to this you can pour a triple over a medium ice ball and it doesn’t taste watered down. The honeyed sweetness it leaves behind makes it incredibly moreish, if that’s the type of whiskey you’re into. Comparing it to Laphroaig or Tallisker is pointless as they’re on opposite ends of the spectrum and the Madeira doesn’t claim to be similar to those whiskies in any way.
More than I expect. Just spend time with family in Pembrokeshire. Celtic see view and PMF taste
Kept an open mind with this one as it had the obvious mixed reviews on here. Smell is unusual. Not unpleasant but a hint of cheap alcohol to it. The taste is.....urgh. First the sweetness but then that dissipates to practically nothing, justa slight spice hint but it's hardly there. Reminds me of an extremely young scotch. It all ends with a sour aftertaste. Its almost like you sense a sour flavour but their is no flavour as the pay off. Will not be buying this again. Surprised it has so many positive reviews!
Surprisingly poor. Penderyn Legend is one of my favourite whiskies, beautifully smooth and mellow, this in the other hand is very abrasive with a horrible bitter aftertaste. Just about ok for mixing. Go for Legend...
