Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.
The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.
Penderyn Madeira Finish is at the heart of the Penderyn range. A beautifully packaged Welsh whisky.
Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

Not as smooth as some of the best cheaper single malts but most definitely worth a try
This is very good, a little sweet for my taste, but if you like sweeter whisky you should enjoy this. It very well made and good quality.
The Madeira really cuts into the taste. Might not be the smoothest but an excellent malt. Always going to keep one in the cabinet for me
Being a Balvenie double wood (12 year old) fan I stumbled across the Penderyn distillery by accident this weekend. Purchased the 'Maderia' as a lets see. So full of flavour and unbelievably smooth. Sorry to admit I cut with ice but still just WOW!!
