Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.
The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.
Penderyn Madeira Finish is at the heart of the Penderyn range. A beautifully packaged Welsh whisky.
Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

Mmm - the marmite of whisky. love it or hate it. it's an odd nose and flowery after taste. Ice please !
I tried a bottle and it is not to my taste - a little sweeter than I normally prefer and the taste was strongly overshadowed by a very pervasive undertone in the bouquet which evoked the urine of a male cat! I suppose it could be the bottle I bought however I won't be trying another....
I've just tried this straight! A friend of mine bought it for me because I'm Welsh and thought I would enjoy it. Gawd, it burned all the way from my teeth to my stomach. Don't think I'll be finishing this bottle. Might try it with water then pass it on to my Scottish neighbour if I get the same result.
Excellent whiskey - fresh but complex. Much better than the average Speyside in my humble
