Penderyn Madeira Finish is a single malt Welsh whisky that has been finished in Madeira wine casks. The Penderyn distillery is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, and the whisky is named after the nearby village of Penderyn.
The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.

Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.
Pale, subtle, delicate and pleasant. No surprising flavours and definitely no added caramel. I think this was made with more care and integrity than many of the over-hyped, no age, Scotch Whiskies currently taking up space in our supermarkets. Good value, given the high ABV, especially if on special offer. My only gripe is the impractical bottle which needs to be put back in its (otherwise unnecessary) cardboard packaging, to avoid being knocked over.

Nice, whisky left bitter taste of dark chocolate, alcohol burned a tongue for sec then disappeared.
Not my favourite. Better than the legend and defo drinkable, but tastes young and thin in the mouth
I enjoyed this with a little water. Initially wasn't sure but now always have a bottle in stock. Nice flavour.
