A single malt that sums up Penderyn's house style. This is matured in bourbon barrels before a finish, unusually for an core expression, in Madeira wine casks. Fruity and creamy.
Sweet, medium body. Herbal, vanilla, sweetness, resin, sultanas, toast. Over-ripe grape.
Thick and sweet, spices, green, biscuity. Custard.
Fresh, crisp, spices and stem ginger.

Never heard of it, got it as an Xmas pressie a few years back and really enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of Glenmorangie. Got through the bottle pretty quickly and would have no trouble opening another! Worth a try
I usually buy Highland Park but tried your Madeira finish single malt out of curiosity! My first impression was dark chocolate, very rich and warming, followed by a sharp tang, rather orangey. Its a very good single malt, but a bit too fruity for me. It would be nice to try your other malts but unfortunately I haven't seen any, being limited to supermarkets these days. Look forward to finding them, but as a Scot, I will be staying with Highland Park for now!
Ridiculously brilliant. So good I emailed the distillery to tell them how good it was. Who knew the best malt whiskey was Welsh.
A
Great depth of flavour. I can find some, though not all, of the findings of the Chaps. No doubt their palates - or vocabularies - are more sophisticated than mine. An excellent drink of which Wales should be proud.
