Penderyn Legend is a Welsh single malt whisky firstly matured in bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira casks before it's bottled, imparting an intriguing touch of vibrant sweetness. It has been bottled at 41% ABV, slightly lower than the Welsh distillers' other Madeira-cask-finished single malt.

Some very harsh reviews here as this is a really drinkable whisky. Ok it does lack the real depth of flavour on the tongue, and is a touch sweet for me, but.... ...It is nonetheless a most enjoyable dram and I would think quite accessible if you're fairly new to whiskey. Don't listen to the naysayers - this is worth trying!
My wife and I love Penderyn but this one is a bit harsh and hits the backs of your throat. My wife doesn’t like it, me....no. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good single malt but needs ageing.
Fabulous
Not good
Light and airy, with green apples to fore.. First taste isnt good. It does improve tho with air and a lot more with just a teaspoon of water to double dram. more apples, some vanilla, mayve just taste the madera cask, but its a bit young.#Quite drinkable once your used to it..the water helps a lot. gb
