This twice-aged bourbon is something of a happy accident, as it was made after Peerless was forced to transfer bourbon from a leaky barrel in order to salvage it. The result tasted so good, that it inspired the Kentucky whiskey makers to create more on purpose.
Caramel, dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, and heaps of seasoned oak.
Oaky spice followed by more chocolate and caramel, as well as rich leather and gingerbread.
Toasted oak and nutmeg.
