Time for the third batch of Chaos single malt Scotch whisky from North Star Spirits! This expression was distilled on Islay and matured in a selection of Port and American oak casks, before being blended and bottled at 50% ABV. A total of 1,400 bottles were released.
Peppery peat, zesty orange peels, charred oak, and sea salt.
Zesty, coastal breeze, jammy fruit with dense, earthen berries, raisins, creamy praline, and a generous helping peat.
Buttery oak, sherried fruits, peat rich, vinous, and mouthcoating.
Lovely chewy, smokey dram, quite phenolic but has a sweet, toffee note that keeps it in check.
