This single grain Scotch whisky, bottled by Douglas Laing at 46.7% ABV for the Clan Denny range, was distilled at the North British Distillery in the Lowlands in October 1991. Bottled in August 2017 with an out-turn of 300, this North British 25 Year Old from a refill hogshead cask is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Sweet, smooth vanilla, icing sugar, a touch of chewy cereals and a hint of menthol.

Palate

Blueberry pancakes, toffee and some banana chip to begin, with notes of warm toasted oak and a little bit of grassiness emerging throughout.

Finish

Toasted barley blends with golden syrup tart and some clove spiciness.
