The award-winning Nikka Whisky From The Barrel blend is absolutely full of flavour. Bottled at 51.4% ABV. The blend combines both single malt and grain whisky, the majority of which comes from from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. A huge depth of flavour in this stunning whisky from Japan. We can't recommend this enough.
Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice, and a little oak.
Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla, and a good mouthful of fruit.
Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.

In terms of price performance and availability this is one of the better value Japanese whiskies and blends in the market. It has influences of vanilla, oranges and cinnamon and its very well rounded and easy going at 51.4% abv. Yes this Nikka blend is a crowd pleaser but it is also bursting of flavor and just a well made whisky.
One of my favourite blends. Enjoy it with a splash of water
This combines what I love about bourbon and what I love about scotch. Arrival for me is a rich salted caramel with a hint of bacon. Finish is spicy with some pepper and citris. This ain’t your dads blended whisky.
This is by far one of the best whiskies I've tried, let alone best for under £40! Up there with Glen Livet's Founder Reserve Warm, sweet, fruity and reassuring, with a little punch of spice at the end. Even better with a little water
My go-to #1 favorite to savor neat. No matter how often I venture out, and perhaps enjoy the journey, this is home.
