The award-winning Nikka Whisky From The Barrel blend is absolutely full of flavour. Bottled at 51.4% ABV. The blend combines both single malt and grain whisky, the majority of which comes from from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. A huge depth of flavour in this stunning whisky from Japan. We can't recommend this enough.
Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice, and a little oak.
Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla, and a good mouthful of fruit.
Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.

This was my first introduction to Nikka. What a joy! If I could compare,I'd say it's like Geisha. Smells like spring, really light and fresh, like the first bouquet of flowers you make after going to neverending fields.Taste is sophisticated, yet very easy going and soft. couldn't have guessed that it's stronger than most whiskies. There's awhole spring packed in that little modest bottle. 10/10
My favourite whisky. Somehow manages to be easy to drink & refreshing, almost like a good bourbon, yet complex with great depth of flavour - up there with the best scotch. I love it. Just a shame the (also beautiful) bottles are only 500ml.
Does not disappoint at all, similar to a Glenfarclas. One of my favourites and am dreading finishing the bottle.
Despite its strength its a smooth, sweet little whisky (caramel, toffee and vanilla). Not much more too it then that, you could happily sink 2 or 3 of these.
this could well be one of my new favourites, I normally a bourbon man but the Nikka whisky from the barrel is very nice indeed, full of flavour and with a lovely lingering after taste of fruit and oak.. definitely try it..
