The award-winning Nikka Whisky From The Barrel blend is absolutely full of flavour. Bottled at 51.4% ABV. The blend combines both single malt and grain whisky, the majority of which comes from from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. A huge depth of flavour in this stunning whisky from Japan. We can't recommend this enough.
Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice, and a little oak.
Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla, and a good mouthful of fruit.
Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.

For the price this is decent. I poured myself a large one, went down a treat. Didn't realise the strength till I got up. Slowed down from then. For a budget blended you can't really go wrong.
Ridiculously over rated.
Tastes like a peated bourbon. Plenty of caramel on the palate with a slight whisp of smoke to finish. Not as nuanced as I would have hoped. Luckily I tracked down a bottle near cost as some places are asking as much as double. I won't feel guilty when enjoying this in highball fashion.
One of the best whiskies I have tasted. As good as the best Scottish brands
Just because people say its good doesn't make it good & its not
