The award-winning Nikka Whisky From The Barrel blend is absolutely full of flavour. Bottled at 51.4% ABV. The blend combines both single malt and grain whisky, the majority of which comes from from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. A huge depth of flavour in this stunning whisky from Japan. We can't recommend this enough.
Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice, and a little oak.
Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla, and a good mouthful of fruit.
Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.
The best blended I have ever tried , full (but not too full) and kind of sweet , almost perfect

Not a dram to rival the true greats but a very pleasant sipping whisky and in terms of quality for cost it's, pound for pound, the best value foreign whisky on the market. A must have for any decent drinks cabinet.
My favourite blend so far. Fairly spicy and very interesting taste. This is in no way a boring whisky.
I have tried one bottle just by chance when I was in Yokouska in 2016 without doing any research on the product and I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend to any serious whiskey consumer to try this one, you wont be disappointed.
