Nikka Days is a brilliantly bright blended Japanese whisky from the legendary producer, featuring spirits from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. The slightly peated whisky delicately balances both fruity and malted flavours. The sunny packaging is sure to brighten up your day too!
Fresh and fruity apples, pears, honeydew melon and strawberry, orange oil, malt sweetness and lemon cheesecake.
Smooth and creamy, roasted nuts, toffee apple, toasty malted cereal and vanilla fudge alongside a hint of barrel char, freshened up by juicy apples.
Buttery lemon shortbread sprinkled with sugar and vanilla pod.
£36.24 - £49.50
Nose - orange oil and maltiness Palate - not much fruit (to me at least), nutty and malty with a little barrel char. Light and smooth, but not particularly complex. Finish - a little vanilla, but kind of short. Very mellow and easy-drinking. Fans of Lowland whiskeys may appreciate this more than I did.
So uninspiring, Akashi is better than this. This has cereal notes, cinder toffee, vanilla, floral, fruity. Light. Lacks the wow factor, very easy going.. too easy going.
It's OK First time for me to try Japanese whisky it was good But it won't beat Jameson whiskey
Lovely whisky to have in the cupboard as a backup for whenever you’ve run out of your favoured choice. It’s light tasting and for me the smoothness of the creamy mid and after taste far outweighs any fruitiness. Definite and constant staple edition to the drinks cabinet.
Not bad! Nothing all that special but worth a try at the price point. Really comes alive in a highball with some dehydrated pineapple for a garnish! I wouldn't buy a second but I don't regret buying it for a second
