Nikka Days is a brilliantly bright blended Japanese whisky from the legendary producer, featuring spirits from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. The slightly peated whisky delicately balances both fruity and malted flavours. The sunny packaging is sure to brighten up your day too!
Fresh and fruity apples, pears, honeydew melon and strawberry, orange oil, malt sweetness and lemon cheesecake.
Smooth and creamy, roasted nuts, toffee apple, toasty malted cereal and vanilla fudge alongside a hint of barrel char, freshened up by juicy apples.
Buttery lemon shortbread sprinkled with sugar and vanilla pod.

Was a big fan of Nikka Blended which this apparently replaces. Unfortunately it has very little of the same character. It shares the same young, bright sweetness but with a lot of added harshness, and some basic citrus notes. I did not enjoy drinking this whisky. It at least beats the flavourless Toki as an entry level Japanese whisky but I still wouldn't recommend it. If you're after a Nikka blend it's definitely worth paying a bit more for Pure Malt or From the Barrel, or picking up a bottle of Nikka Blended if you can.
Pretty bland, some fresh fruit flavours make it bright and drinkable, but nothing really jumping out to make it a nice whisky.
Diluted with a little spring water. Nice balanced complexity with slightly more caramel than peat. A slight harshness on the aftertatse!
Not as "complicated" as Nikka from the Barrel in tasting sensations this is a fresh, fruity Nikka edition. I drink it pure and like it
