Bourbon
A Cask Strength Collection bottling of 8 year old Mortlach single malt, drawn from a apir of bourbon barrels which were filled in March 2008 and cracked open in January 2017. 498 bottles were produced.
Grist, espresso beans, freshly-harvested pears, lavender.
Peppery cask char, flamed orange peel, cinnamon.
Another kick of hot cinnamon appears on the finish.
