A superb single malt from Speyside's Mortlach Distillery, independently bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection! Distilled in April 2007, the whisky was initially matured in refill hogsheads, before being transferred over to a fresh sherry butt for the final 16 months. In April 2022, after 14 years, a total of 697 bottles were released at 52% ABV.

Hearty helpings of warming oak spice are followed by oily nuts, prunes, and earthy cloves.
Jammy fruit notes finish things up, with a hint of orange and dried herbs, caramel and mixed nuts.
