From the Speyside region, this Mortlach single malt was distilled in March 2005, then independently bottled by Douglas Laing for The Clan Denny range 12 years later. One of 390 bottles, this is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, and has an ABV of 48%.

Nose
White oak, oodles of buttery biscuit and a whisper of spices.
Palate
Caramelised apples drenched in honey, rye bread and a touch of coffee.
Finish
Chocolate praline and zesty orange peel.
