Mortlach’s famously muscular, worm tub cooled spirit thrives in sherry casks, and this 11-year-old release shows exactly why. Matured in a combination of first-fill oloroso butts and refill hogsheads, then bottled at 57.1% ABV, it delivers heft, depth and unmistakable distillery character.
Meaty malt, dark fruit, walnut and polished oak.
Rich sherry sweetness, savoury umami notes, treacle and spice.
Long, chewy and warming with lingering oak and dark fruit.
