10 year old single malt from the Beast of Dufftown - Mortlach! This is a Douglas Laing Provenance bottling, aged in a hogshead from June 2006 to February 2017 - 389 bottles were produced.
Caramelised banana and sugared peels, with white oak warmth developing the longer it's in the glass.
Chocolate praline, zesty orange peel and a kick of turmeric.
Spiced currant buns with butter and marmalade.
Oh my word! It's wonderful, neat. No water needed in my humble Texas opinion.
