Chorlton whisky has snapped up a smashing little find here in the form of 16-year-old Miltonduff single malt. It was matured in a single refill hogshead, the character of which Chorlton has preserved by bottling at cask strength without any additional colouring or chill-filtration.
Sweet porridge, orange peel, and cooked apple spiced with a little cinnamon.
Creamy vanilla, white chocolate, and raspberries join the party.
A little tropical fruit and cream linger.
