Independently bottled by Signatory, a marvellous single malt from Miltonduff, matured in a trio of ex-bourbon barrels for 13 years between December 2009 and June 2022. When the time came to open the cask, the gang at Signatory made sure there was no added colour, and none of that chill-filtration either, because this expression joins the Un-Chillfiltered Collection!
Honeyed stone fruits, prunes, and biscuity malt with buttery nuts drifting throughout.
A prickle of candied ginger is softened by sweet, dried orange and vanilla sponge cake. Delicately milky chai spices begin to build.
Lingering vanilla, a good helping of creamy cereal, malt bread, and toasted oak.
